Image Details
The image above is a detail from the sixth degree Julia set generated by the function \(J(z) = z^6 + (0.700+0.084i)\). A complete overview of the fractal can be found by clicking the image above (11.9 MB). While the generating function is a bit different from that used to generate previous images, the relationship to other Julia sets is clear. The same structures are present, including the twisted spirals near the edges and the radial objects near the center, but the six-fold rotational symmetry is a very nice surprise.
