Image Details
This week, a return to the Mandelbrot set. This image is from the eastern side of seahorse valley. The original (linked above, approx. 11.6 MB) shows a slightly larger region centered near \(-0.786+0.147i\). To get a sense of scale, if the Mandelbrot set were about three miles across, the linked image would measure about two inches, and the image above would measure less than half an inch across.
