A seventh degree multibrot set. This image was generated by the function \(f(z)=z^7+z_c\), and centered near \(0.15+096i\). The overall structure is familiar, but the specifics are kind of nifty. Note that each of the little minimultibrots (heh) has six, rather than one, bulb. There are also some interesting asymmetries, more of which can be seen in the larger image (about 8.6 MB).
It’s really interesting to see what changing that one piece of the equation does to the overall output. This one is quite beautiful!
